Ash Mahmood brings nearly three decades of experience helping public-sector and commercial organizations navigate complex business and technology transformation. He began his career delivering large-scale ERP, financial management, e-procurement, data warehouse, business intelligence, and decision-support initiatives for State and Local governments, including the Illinois Department of Public Aid, State of Missouri, Commonwealth of Virginia, and major county and public-school systems. His work has included ERP/FMS modernization, enterprise financial processes, procurement, grants, data integration, reporting, performance management, and solution architecture across more than 20 public-sector organizations.

He later moved into the U.S. Federal market, leading complex programs and helping grow a Federal Health and Civilian business serving agencies including the Internal Revenue Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Health and Human Services, National Institutes of Health, Health Resources and Services Administration, and Administration for Children and Families. His experience spans digital transformation, program delivery, executive engagement, organizational growth, governance, and translating mission priorities into executable transformation strategies.

Today, Ash focuses on enterprise transformation in the AI era, helping organizations understand how they create value, identify where that value is constrained, and determine what must change across operating models, processes, data, enterprise architecture, governance, technology, and organizational capability.

He is also leading the development of dekhAI’s Transformation Intelligence methodology, an evolving AI-enabled approach for connecting enterprise evidence, identifying transformation opportunities, and prioritizing where organizations should act.
